Good video. Jackie recently showed me a video she worked on, and we compared it side by side to another edit submitted by person-x. It made me understand a little more of the things editors choose do (or not do) - the selection of style A over B or the absence of a cut/fade, etc. etc. etc. - and how deeply they affect the final product. The average viewer, ie. people like myself, definitely takes these nuances for granted.
